It’s been so hard.
So much time, so far apart.
I’d wondered how I stay strong
I’ve missed you for so long.
Now those three months equaled eternity
and amends is never easy
but hope held on to me, prayer kept me.
between us, we may have changed.
but you are and still are,
important to me.
